We're neighbors of yours that help make the back country a better place to live. The MEMC has organized and presented the annual Pine Valley Days for the past 39 years. It’s a day of fun, craft vendors, and a community picnic featuring a deep pit BBQ and live music in the county park. With the money raised from Pine Valley Days we sponsor individual scholarships to our kids in the rural area that want to go to college. This year we were able to fund $7,000 in scholarships and provide the MEHS JV football team with over $3000 for much needed equipment. We also provide 2 pancake breakfasts a year for the Pine Valley Improvement Club, coordinate the “Run to the Hills Car Show,  perform the Freeway Cleanup, pass out Halloween safety glow sticks to the kids Halloween night, hang and maintain the Christmas lights in Pine Valley and Descanso and operate Santa’s House each  year.
